About
The King’s Project was born many years ago as an idea to create an epicenter for holistic wellness in South Carolina for black and brown communities.
The King’s Project was founded by Tyisha Henderson, a wellness advocate for underserved communities and corporate spaces. She is certified as a 200-hour registered yoga teacher with a passion of spreading the benefits of mindfulness to the community and workplace. She comes with years of experience in the education and nonprofit sectors, leading elementary, high school and school faculty and staff in mindfulness exercises that benefited the teacher, student, and classroom environment.

Meet Tyisha Henderson
I am a proud yogi and wellness pioneer. It is my hope to provide healthy strategies to cope and prevent such diseases as cardiovascular, diabetes and cancer with a faith centered, people focused mindset. Growing up in South Carolina showed how faith and community are intertwined. It is my hope that The King’s Project bridges the gap between faith and wellness.
As you join me on the journey, I welcome you to “Come home to your wellness”
